Join Saint Hermione’s Lay Pastoral Visitors program as a volunteer!
Saint Hermione Lay Pastoral Visitors program is a project of Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Mission, an English-language mission in Toronto, under the spiritual protection of His Eminence Archbishop Irénée, the Archbishop of Ottawa and the Archdiocese of Canada of the Orthodox Church in America.
We train and support lay people from parishes in the GTA to make scheduled visits in pairs to housebound, lonely, vulnerable people at their homes as well as at the residential or permanent care homes, to accompany them in their situations and to bring more joy into their lives.
This Saturday, February 15,
from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM
online by Zoom.

St. Hermione’s Lay Pastoral Visitors program is holding a training for volunteers, who are involved in visiting vulnerable people. and anyone else who would like to join this good endeavour.
Experienced trainers, Sister Florence and Sister Brenda from St. John the Divine Sisterhood, who are working as spiritual counsellors with patients of St. John’s Rehab, home-bound and vulnerable people, will lead us in the common reflection about joys, questions and challenges of being lay pastoral visitors.
All are very welcome!
If you have any questions concerning St. Hermione Lay Pastoral Visitors program or the coming training, please, feel free to contact the coordinator of the project Svetlana Panich greycat1107@gmail.com.
God Bless you all!
