The relics of four Saints in the Cathedral on October 26th-27th.

Dear Brothers and Sisters!

Four Saints (particles of Holy Relics) will visit the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Christ the Savior at the same time. They will come to us from All Saints of North America Monastery, Dewdney, BC.

Saint Basil the Great, Basil of Caesarea, 329/30–379.

Saint Basil the Great.

Basil the Great is asked to deliver one from fears and strengthen one’s faith. It is also believed that he helps to get rid of persecution and unfair treatment. The Saint is known for the fact that through prayers to him the Lord grants healing, help in studies or scientific research.

St Pantaleon the Healer, 275 – 305.

Great-Martyr and Unmercenary Healer Pantaleon.

People pray to Saint Panteleimon for healing of illnesses and spiritual wounds, for ending epidemics. Relatives ask for protection for the military, sailors, doctors, since the great martyr Panteleimon is the patron of warriors.

Saint Martyr George, also George of Lydda, 275 – 303.

Saint Martyr Georgy.

Believers ask Saint George to grant them courage and strength of spirit. Saint George is considered the heavenly patron of men. He is considered the patron of warriors and farmers, and serves as protection from evil spirits. Through prayers to the Saint, the Lord helps to heal from illnesses.

Saint Martyr Boniface of Tarsus, 669 – 731.

Saint Martyr Boniface of Tarsus.

People turn to Saint Boniface with requests for deliverance from alcoholism and other serious addictions and passions, for strengthening in faith and healing from illnesses.
